The FEST is not only a musical event – there are many more activities for younger and older kids and teens alike!
Kid’s Area
The kid’s area is filled with games and crafts that are fun for everyone! Come and visit each of our stations and participate in our scavenger hunt, help make rosaries for the troops, see the clowns, and so much more! Also, for the youngest kids, there is a play area filled with coloring supplies, sand tables, and bubbles.
Kids ages 13 and younger also can participate in our coloring contest! The winners of the contest will have the chance to accept their prize on the main stage on the day of the FEST!

Marc’s Adventure Zone: Find the kid in you!
For the older participants of the FEST there are plenty of things to do while in between listening to your favorite Christian artists!
Come and check out the back yard games area to challenge your friends in corn hole! It is easy hang out fun that everyone can enjoy.
Old favorites like the BMX bike show are coming back, along with some a new attraction - Giant Jenga!
Johnsonville Big Taste Grill
Nothing says summer quite like a delicious Johnsonville Brat. Bursting with juicy flavor, the succulent sausages and brats are staples of backyard barbeques all over the country…including at the FEST! After appearing at the Super Bowl, Daytona 500 and being featured in the movie Dukes of Hazzard, Johnsonville’s Big Taste Grill is rolling into Wickliffe. At just over 63’, the Big Taste Grill can hold up to 753 brats at one time, earning it the distinction of being the World’s Largest Grill. Be sure to stop by the Big Taste Grill for a succulent Johnsonville Brat at the FEST!

Station #1 – Journal
To keep your day faith filled, pick up your Journal here and write a quick reflection as you go to each area. There is a question at each station to help you along.
Station #2 – Family Blessing
Mothers-to-be are welcome to pray to St. Gerard, the Patron Saint of expectant mothers, with a special medal and prayer card. Families can pray together and receive a special FEST blessing today. Please take a Family Grace Prayer Card and candle. Light the candle before each meal as you pray together as a family. To help the environment, the candles are made from recycled Paschal and church candles.
Station #3 – Fair Trade
Come play games, make a fair trade bracelet and win tickets for a special auction. Learn all about what you can buy and do to help treat everyone fairly. Watch the grounds for the special Fair Trade roving reporter.
Station #4 – Creation Station
This is where creativity begins! Make a special FEST Dream catcher, get a chance to thank a parent for choosing life, make a crazy hat and even find out how you can be a hero! Don’t forget that your journey begins at home. Color our giant coloring house and enter to take one home with you.
Station #5 – Messy Zone
The Knights of Columbus will help you get messy! Play with clay, slime, make something with shaving cream, paint with pool noodles and even get yucky with toilet paper. How? You have to be here to find out.
Station #6 – Faith Challenge
The CYO Girls Religious Program will help you find ways to share your faith. Get ready with an Emergency Prayer Kit, make caplets for the military and help Sister Miriam Fideles bring faith to the poor. Don’t forget to get all glittery adding your special intention to our GIANT banner.
Station #7 – Shake, Rattle & Roll
It’s the FEST version of Stomp! Shake it, pound it, rattle it, jingle it and just have fun making all sorts of noise—and no one will care!
Station #8 – Gumball Alley
Throw them, toss them, just play with all sizes of balls from little to mighty. Toss the balls as fast as you can into the big net. Listen for the loud noise and wait for a surprise!
Station #9 – Be Happy
The St. Paschal Clown Raschals will be here to paint faces and make you laugh! Don’t forget to become a FEST clown by seeing QTPie, Bojangles and others at 5:00pm in the Unity tent.

Sand tables, sidewalk chalk, sprinkler balls and who knows what else! Come and play for awhile.
Station #11 – Toddler Crawl
This area is special for 3 and under (with an adult 18 or over). Crawl, touch, play, all in a safe environment.
Station #12 – Drawing Contest Winners
The FEST Drawing Contest this year is bigger and better than ever! Come see the fine example of God’s gifts and talents from kids from around the Diocese 5-13. If you entered, come and pick up your participation certificate and your treat! Which picture sets your Heart on Fire?
Station #13 – Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts of our area have taken over! Come see our tennis courts transformed with a Big Wheel obstacle course, games, and much more. Don’t miss out on our giant sandbox! Stay for a minute, an hour or all day! Check out the Boy Scout Tent with many more things to do and see.
Station #14 – Unity Tent

Jacob Bearer and Matt Byrne, our own seminarians, are well known for their comedy, skill, impressions and many other talents. Come early and begin the day at the Unity Tent with their antics. Watch for 95.5 and the Hamster Dance and special give-a-ways.
Polka Revolution
Join our young musicians, Ryan Gillispie- Baritone, Aaron Dussing- Accordion, Hannah Dussing- Alto Sax, Connor Ingram-Drums, Harold Norsic-Tenor Sax and Lisa Radl-Trumpet for some great polka music. Take time from the day and dance, sing and just have fun.

Outback Ray

The FEST Clown Band
Do you want to laugh? Come be a clown for a day! The St. Paschal Clown Raschals will give you a red nose, a kazoo, and it’s all fun from there on! You won’t want to miss this special show.
The Slovenian Choir
At 6:00pm high school and college students from the Parish of Saint Anthony of Padua in Ljubljana’s Vič neighborhood will be performing in the Unity Tent. It has been active since 1988 and the choir is currently led by professional musicians Roman Pušnjak and Marjan Bunič.
